The mission of Worland Senior Citizens, Inc. is to enable Senior Citizens in Washakie County to maintain their independence and to continue to live, as long as possible, in their own homes as valued, contributing members of the community. The Senior Center provides transportation, deliver nutritious meals to client’s homes and serve in our dining room, provide Information and Referral for aging issues, and Material aid in the form of a loaning closet with durable medical equipment.
- *Public Transportation 8:00-3:00, ***available to persons of all ages***. Safe, clean, air-conditioned vehicles to transport all people including those with special needs.
- *Nutrition Services, meals served at the Senior Center 11:30-12:30. Home Delivered meals are available to home bound seniors.
- *Wyoming Home Services available to those that are 60 and over, and to some individuals with disabilities over 18 years. WyHS helps individuals to stay independent and in their home, providing light housekeeping, shopping, bill paying, meal preparation, bathing, dressing, hair care, personal hygiene, Personal Emergency Response System, and more. Fees are on a sliding scale.
- *Clinics – Blood Pressure, Hearing Aid, and Foot
- *Medical Loan Closet – We have a large assortment of medical equipment available for loan during a 3 month period. Donations are accepted for use of equipment. Don’t buy it, borrow it!
