The Uinta County Business Leadership Network, Disability:IN Uinta County and MentorABILITY strives to provide educational information to the business community on diversifying their workforce to include people with disabilities. We also provide youth with disabilities the opportunity to explore careers and engage with the business community.
Business Leadership Network:
The Business Leadership Network provides educational information to employers in attracting new employees and customers with disabilities, developing business leaders who value diversity, and actively working to promote strong communities that include people with disabilities.
MentorABILITY:
Our MentorABILITY program is an innovative program that assists youth with disabilities to become employed. The program engages the active participation of employers in providing career exploration and internship opportunities. Through these activities, youth participants gain career guidance, insight, and the experience they need to obtain jobs and develop meaningful, rewarding careers.
Mentor-Match:
Our goal is to match responsible mentors with our young people with disabilities and at-risk youth to help them reach their full potential in personal development and Independence.
Mentor-Match provides mentors the opportunity to develop a structured and trusting relationship with the youth with disabilities and at-risk youth in our community. It provides guidance, support, and encouragement to help develop our at-risk youth in competence and in character.
