Office Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 12 noon and 1pm – 5pm
Laboratory Hours: Monday & Tuesday 8am – 5pm and Wednesday 8am – 3pm only- The primary purpose of the Sweetwater County Environmental Health Department is to ensure that Sweetwater County Residents and visitors have clean, safe food and water supplies. We strive to ensure that unsafe, unhealthy food and water never reaches the public.
- This goal is accomplished through educational programs conducted for food service owners and operators by the Environmental Health Department and through a program of safety inspections on food suppliers, restaurants, school kitchens, grocery stores, and public water systems. Additionally, the Environmental Health Department operates an EPA Certified drinking water quality monitoring laboratory.
