- Our team of experienced caseworkers and language specialists provide services, resources, and information our neighbors need to survive, stabilize and thrive in.
- Our work includes emergency aid and resources in times of crisis or hardship, financial guidance and empowerment, language assistance for essential health and safety, and community-building programs that supply information and inspiration with accuracy and empathy.
- Emergency Assistance & Client Advocacy
- Through the Emergency Assistance Fund, One22 provides temporary aid to eligible households and individuals who are facing severe financial difficulties due to unexpected circumstances, either with short-term assistance or more specialized financial and counseling aid to regain stability.
- Our Client advocates can help:
- Identify potential sources of assistance
- Complete scholarship or assistance applications
- Assist with the Medicaid and Kidcare/CHIP insurance programs
- Facilitate payments and/or establish payment plans
- Provide general explanation of complicated billing and payment systems
- Language Access & Interpretation Services
- We provide medical interpretation services so limited English-speaking patients can communicate effectively with their doctors. Our trained and certified interpreters are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our interpreters establish long-term relationships with clients and provide extensive support for people with serious illnesses.
- Latino Services
- We help Spanish-speaking immigrants acquire the skills necessary to adjust to life in Teton County by promoting independence, education and employment. Our goal is to facilitate the process of successful adjustment to life for Latinos in Jackson.
- Services include:
- One-on-one personalized assistance and/or referrals such as Workers’ Compensation, Vital records, employment, legal, housing, immigration issues, and cultural orientation
- Taxpayer assistance programs
- Translation service of vital records and essential personal documents
- Assistance with consular visits and services
- Cultural events
- Limited translation and interpretation for organizations seeking to communicate more effectively with Spanish-speakers
- Community Outreach & Education
- Our emerging Education Programs focus on efforts to help people manage hardship, gain access to services, and participate more fully in the community.
- Our Programs includes:
- Educational forums and presentations
- Budgeting classes and personal finance counseling
- Youth empowerment initiatives
- Work and professional guidance
