Mountain Regional Services, Inc., (MRSI) provides nationally accredited services to persons with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injury in Evanston and Cheyenne. Founded in 1985, MRSI remains true to its mission of assisting each person served in achieving the highest quality of life. All services are designed around the needs and choices of the persons served while providing purpose, dignity and respect. Unique to the state is MRSI’s “no rejection” policy of admission. Individuals eligible for home and community based waiver services are accepted into the program provided capacity and resources are available. Using a team approach, persons served interact with an array of professionals enabling even the most involved individuals to reach their greatest level of independence. MRSI’s day programs are person-centered and founded on the principles of choice and personal growth. Residential programs enable individuals to live in attractive homes and apartments integrated throughout each city. Highly trained staff members provide supervision and support to ensure safety and foster self-sufficiency. For individuals interested in employment opportunities, MRSI offers supported employment services including job coaching and access to an extensive network of community-based employers.
