- The Meeteetse Recreation District offers many activities throughout the year for both adults and children.

Meeteetse Rec District offers MeetRecKids, an after school program for Meeteetse area school students.
- The Meeteetse Recreation District is the public transit provider for the community of Meeteetse.
- We provide transportation for senior citizens for their medical or social needs.
- We transport kids on field trips.
- This service is for anyone who needs to rely on public transit.
- The Rec District, in conjunction with the Shoshone National Forest, operates the Wood River Valley Cross Country Ski Park.
- We also offer a lodging cabin year round on the South Fork of the Wood River, in the Forest.
- The Meeteetse Recreation District leases the Community Swimming Pool from the Meeteetse Community Joint Powers Board and offers pool activities year around for the community.
- We staff the pool and offer swim lessons every summer for the kids in the surrounding area.
- The District is a non-profit organization, which is here to meet the recreational needs of our community.
