C.A.R.E.S. Crisis and Referral Emergency Service
Crisis and Referral Emergency Service is a crisis intervention service serving victims of all crime, including domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We are your advocate and referral agency. We provide prevention education to schools and community groups, and volunteer training to raise awareness of violence issues. We will accompany victims to court to offer support, we provide an orientation to the court and judicial system handbook to victims and witnesses and are the representative in Big Horn County for the Wyoming crime victims’ compensation fund. We offer assistance in person or over the phone with crisis intervention and advocacy, in order to better victims’ lives. We can also keep you informed on the status of your case. We can provide safe house shelter and assistance filling protection orders.
